Okay folks excitement ahead, let me tell ya LOL. So I went back to Blue Mars to do some more exploring the other day. They have about four or so active sims currently and one of these is called New Venice and the thing that got Lizzie’s attention regarding New Venice is that there you can FLY! YAY! So I figured I should check out New Venice and take some snappity snaps of my time there to share with you, all my bloggity blog friends. So let’s take a look at my day at New Venice, shall we?

Here my friends is the entrance to New Venice – all sorts of oohs and ahhs right? Well hold on to your hats folks, it get’s better because in New Venice you can run around………..

UNDERWATER, YAY!!!!!!!!! So I ran around underwater seemingly forever until I came across this…….

Some sort of CRAZY underwater building thing, YAY!!!!!!!!! But for the life of me I couldn’t figure out how to get into the building and still didn’t know how to fly. So I went back to the Welcome Area in search of SOMEONE to teach me how to fly!

So at the Welcome Area I ran into my new friend Dude Starship (no pics of “The Dude”, sorry) who took me back to New Venice. And guess what? Dude taught me how to fly but then he logged out so I couldn’t tell him where I flew too, LOL. Oh well that happens in the virtual world – you make a friend, they log out FOREVER or they delete you and that’s the end of the friendship. Sad but true, LOL. Anyway that’s it for Lizzie today in Blue Mars so take care my friends and have great Second/Blue Mars Life!

So yeah I have been hanging in Blue Mars the past week and even though it’s still pretty quiet, I am getting attached to this new world. I have been running into old friends and making some new friends as well, YAY. The bots have appeared to have left the welcome area, much to my chagrin but it does give the visitors a better chance to interact peacefully, ha. I went back to Blue Mars today and ran into an old SL acquaintance from the electronic clubs – what a small world LOL. Alpha Klata is doing some development for GridRock City along with my fellow Blue Mars blogger Zetsumei Ieyashi. Along with perfecting the Blue Mars Crazy Eye Look , LOL, he has quite a few experimental projects completed as well. Check out his blog Alpha Klata – MarsDev to see what he’s got a brewin!

And of course no virtual world would be complete without a few Negative Nancy’s to add color to the landscape, ha. This dude, Arah Something, logged in and instantly went on a bitch frenzy. “What’s up with the controls”, “Why can’t they do this”, “Why can’t they do that”, “A turd on a nice Engine is still a turd,” – blah, blah, blah, blah. He ended his visit after 10 minutes of his bitch fest by saying “I’ll be back in 6 months to see if it’s any better.” Okay, Arah and don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, ha.

And speaking of dudes, I would have to say most of the peeps I have met have been men. Oh ladies there is a new crop virtual penor ripe for the picking over in Blue Mars…you may want to think about joining up, LOL. Lizzie is exploring new territory my friends – the wonderful, wonderful world of Blue Mars, YAY. I have been an active member of Second Life for over three years now and I actually have a pretty active blog there as well called The Virtual Adventures of Lizzie. I joined Blue Mars in September but found my video card was not up to par. So After upgrading my video card recently I have been spending more time there – chatting, exploring, jumping on the forums, etc etc. And I see some potential there I really do. As of yet there is no economy, so no shopping but hopefully that will change soon. So as a change of pace I thought I would share some pictures I took tonight of Lizzie in Blue Mars, YAY!

“Players” as opposed to “Developers” log into a central location with quite a few greeting bots. After hanging for a few I began to see that the bots had these crazy behaviors when a “new player” logged in for the first time – they would surround the new player like they were about to take part in some sort of feeding frenzy, LOL. After seeing this a few times, my new friend “miser” and I would yell “ATTACK OF THE BOTS”! It was quite humorous actually.

This is our new friend “LexyAngel”. Unfortunately she didn’t have much to say but she had on a smashing bikini! Lexy and I bonded over the lack of words and we will be life long friends I am sure!

I really liked Lexy’s sexy bikini so I thought I would try one on for myself! Am I hot or what, LOL. So yeah the sandals are bit eek but hopefully the footwear situation will change soon, ha. Okay that’s it for Lizzie’s adventure in Blue Mars this evening. Over the next couple of weeks I will be sharing more pics of blue mars – that is until the feed owners say ENOUGH or WE ARE KICKING YOU OFF AGAIN, ha.
